OUR CORE VALUES

The Mothers Comedy Group is a collaborative community committed to supporting each member’s creativity, authenticity, and growth in improv, sketch comedy, and other theatrical works.

While our main goal is truly to make people laugh, we cannot underestimate the power of a voice and a stage. The very act of collaborating, bringing together different voices for one collective performance, is a revolutionary act.

Collaboration

The Mothers is built on the idea that bringing different voices together for one collective performance is itself a powerful act. No one succeeds alone here.

From staying true to your voice to questioning your own bias, the group prizes honest, unguarded expression — onstage and off.

Authenticity

The freedom to explore any topic isn't unchecked. With the power of a voice and a stage comes the obligation to wield it thoughtfully and with intention.

Responsibility

The commitment to having each other's backs, to giving and receiving feedback openly, to supporting each member's growth, reflects a group that functions as a genuine community, not just a cast.
